Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Between 2005-2009, Mackenzie served as the JDRF Family Chair for northern Vancouver Island. Supported by the JDRF staff in Victoria and working with an amazing and dedicated local volunteer network, she organized events such as the annual Telus Walk to Cure Diabetes to raise money and awareness awareness for finding a cure.
